Handcrafted Red Dawn Damascus Folding Pocket Knife

The appeal of Damascus steel blades extends back centuries not only for its beauty but strength.  The flowing water effect on the blade comes from repeatedly heating and forging the metal while hammer wielding the strips thus creating small beautiful pieces of art.  This blade features a swirling Random pattern with a thumb stud for opening.  A wide slicing belly is provided in a drop point style.  The handle is made from genuine horn slabs that have been polished and stained red. Double walled and made with quality materials this blade makes a wonderful gift.  The framework is all handcrafted from brass with lovely free handed file work that is also represented on the spine.  All bolsters are made from copper with a silver finish.  A hawk profile adorns each bolster for added decoration.  To house your blade a handmade leather sheath is provided that comes with a stag design and a tooled basket weave pattern.  It has a snap closure and a belt loop on the back to keep your blade with you and at the ready.
